GARDEN CITY — Great Bend's 400-yard free relay placed fourth (4:31.41) with Jordan Sander, Randy Weber, Kale Mermis and Logan Urban competing for the Panthers best finish at the 2025 Western Athletic Conference swimming championship.

Matthew Williams earned a pair of fifth-place finishes in the 100 breaststroke (1:24.31) and 500 freestyle (6:48.74).

The Panthers' 200 free relay team of  Sperlein, Williams, Mermis and Logan Urban placed fifth (2:00.53).

The Panthers (176) finished fourth. Garden City (390) won the WAC championship ahead of Hays (346).
