HOISINGTON — Great Bend's third-place medalist Kendyl Henning (48) stayed hot to spark the Panthers to first place (207) at the nine-hole Hoisington Golf Invitational at Lake Barton Golf Club.
The Panthers counted scores by fourth-place Allyson Kaiser (49), eighth-place Daltry Kurth (54) and 12th-place Ashlyn Harbaugh (56).
A north wind blowing 20 to 25 mph created challenging conditions on any shot into the air.
Larned's top 10 medalists were sixth-place Alaura Crockett-Armijo (53) and sixth-place Darby Eakin (53) for a runner-up 218 finish.
Hoisington (220) tied for third with eighth-place medalists Ava Henry (54) and Chandra Ehler (54).
Plainville's fifth-place 3A state medalist Corbyn Marquess (41) earned medalist honors, two strokes ahead of Pratt's Avery Blasi (43).
In the junior varsity division, Great Bend's Kylee Mohr was the medalist (53). Hoisington's Tricia Schremmer (58) placed fifth and Great Bend's Halle Latham (59) finished sixth.
