Ellinwood 60, Spearville 49
LARNED — Amanda Tucker put Ellinwood High School’s girls’ basketball team in a position to win in the championship game of the Seventh Annual Gene Keady Basketball Classic on Saturday night against Spearville.
Tucker scored 13 of her game-high 19 points in the first half.
Sophia Hayes and Rachel Doll each added 11 points for the Lady Eagles.

LARNED — Hoisington led 16-13 after the first half, and added to its lead in each quarter of the second half to pull away in the third-place game of the Gene Keady Classic.
The Lady Cardinals were led by senior Jordin Greer, who finished with 15 points.
Rylie Koester added 10 points.

LARNED — St. John pulled away in the third quarter of the fifth-place game of the Gene Keady Classic, outscoring host Larned 8-3 for a 21-14 lead heading into the final eight minutes.
The Lady Tigers only made 4 of 7 free throws in the fourth quarter, but held on to win.
Alexis Witt and Teresa Christie finished with 11 points each to lead St. John.
Larned’s Tiara Diaz finished with a team-leading nine points.

LARNED — Macksville was led by Tara Bunker, who finished with 20 points and scored 13 of them in the fourth quarter.
She went 8-for-12 from the free-throw line for the Lady Mustangs in the final eight minutes to secure the victory over Kinsley in the seventh-place game of the Gene Keady Classic.
Sophie Filbert added 12 points, and Melissa Espino scored 11 points for Macksville.

LINCOLN — Reagan Phelan scored 16 points to lead Central Plains past Ell-Saline 58-48 in Saturday’s championship game.
Central Plains (4-0) also placed Kendi Maxwell (13) and Taylor Rolfs (11) in double figures. Breanna Holmes added nine points.
The Lady Oilers outscored the Lady Cardinals 19-10 in the decisive second period. Central Plains converted 16 of 21 free throws.
Ell-Saline’s Paige Johnson scored 21 points and made seven 3-pointers. Sesely Omli added 10 points.
