GREENSBURG — The Ellinwood High School girls’ tennis team swept the meet hosted by Kiowa County on Thursday.
The Lady Eagle’s No. 1 doubles duo, Bailey Schartz and Darrien Beckwith, and No. 2 doubles players, Gentry McLeland and Kaitlyn Robl, did not lose a game, beating South Barber, South Central and Ashland.

LARNED — The Ellinwood High School volleyball team went 2-1 at the Larned quadrangular on Thursday.
The Lady Eagles beat Larned 25-19, 25-16, and Kinsley 15-25, 25-19, 25-16. However, Hill City, which swept the competition, beat Ellinwood 25-10, 25-21.
The Lady Indians also fell to Kinsley 25-8, 16-25, 30-28, and Hill City 25-14, 25-19.
