HAYS — There was no question who would advance to the Class 3A playoffs, or who would be the Mid-Central Activities Association champion on Thursday night at Lewis Field Stadium.
The Hoisington High School football team shattered Thomas More Prep Marian, 45-0.
Senior quarterback Hagan Hanzlick rushed for three touchdowns and 109 yards. He threw for one touchdown to wide receiver Brandon Ball.
Tailback Chance Demel led Hoisington (5-4 overall, 2-1 District 15) with 157 rushing yards, scoring two TDs.
Avery Urban also rushed for a score.
The Cardinals travel to Holcomb on Tuesday night, starting at 7.

Otis-Bison 76,
Sylvan-Lucas 26
SYLVAN GROVE — Senior tailback Dylan Wissman rushed for six touchdowns to lead Otis-Bison to an Eight-Man Division-II District 7 championship.
Cougars running back Jordan Hoffman and quarterback Kole Urban got in on the action as well.
Hoffman scored on a 37-yard run, a 55-yard interception return and a 46-yard pass from Urban.
Urban also rushed for a 28-yard score.
Otis-Bison (8-1, 5-0) will host a playoff game against Rolla on Tuesday night. Kickoff is set for 7, but the time may change due to the distance Rolla must travel.

St. John 38, Kiowa County 32
GREENSBURG — With a close victory, St. John secured its first district title since 2007.
The Tigers traded scores with Eight-Man D-I District 6 opponent Kiowa County, leading 22-20 at halftime.
St. John (8-1, 6-0) hosts Pretty Prairie, which lost to Solomon, 20-18, on Tuesday night at 7.

Fairfield 64, Macksville 18
FAIRFIELD — Macksville’s season ended on the road in a rout.
Junior quarterback Tanner Tranbarger scored two rushing touchdowns. He also completed a pass to senior Peter Penner for a score.
The Mustangs, who needed to beat Fairfield to have a chance at a postseason run, finish 4-5, 3-3 in Eight-Man D-I District 6 action.

Stafford 50, Attica 0
ATTICA — Stafford finished off Eight-Man Division-II District 4 foe Attica in 24 minutes.
The Trojans ended their season with a romp that ended at halftime due to the 45-point rule.
Stafford finishes 6-3, 4-2.

Pratt 51, Larned 14
LARNED — Larned junior quarterback Easton Palmer completed 9 of 21 passes for 186 yards and one score in the Indians’ final game.
Larned finishes 3-5, 0-3 in a season that saw it snap a losing streak spanning three years.
Indians senior Brady Keith rushed for 70 yards, and Jamil Shoemaker led receivers with 95 yards and one TD.

Inman 49, Ellinwood 8
ELLINWOOD — Ellinwood senior tailback-turned-quarterback Patrick Ringering scored the only touchdown in his final football game with the Eagles.
Ringering, who took over at quarterback when Jared Oelke suffered a season-ending injury, rushed for a 60-yard score.
Ellinwood finishes 0-9, 0-4 2A District 5.
