NESS CITY — The No. 1 ranked Central Plains girls stayed unbeaten with a 70-42 Central Prairie League basketball victory over Ness City.
Janae Ryan led the Oilers (18-0, 6-0 CPL) with a career high 25 points and Reagan Phelan added 12 points and Kylee Kasselman 10 points. The Oilers play Kinsley at home Friday.

PLAINVILLE — Ellinwood’s girls raced past Plainville 56-34 in a non-league basketball game Tuesday.  Ellinwood (17-1, 5-1 CPL) was paced by Rachel Doll with 18 points and Delaney Beckwith with 14 points and 13 rebounds.
