HAYS — The Ellinwood High School boys’ cross-country won the Class 4-1A division of the  Hays Invitational on Thursday evening.
The Lady Eagles finished in second place.
Pedro Montoya led the Eagles, claiming the title with a time of 15 minutes, 14 seconds.
Joanna Strecker won the girls’ competition, crossing the finish line at 16:29.
