MEADE — The Ellinwood High School girls’ cross-country team qualified for another Class 2A State Meet.
Not only that, but the Lady Eagles won the sixth straight regional victory.
They finished with 29 points, blasting second-place Stanton County, which had 56 points.
Ellinwood also had two boys make the cut — Morgan Feemster, who placed third with a time of 17:53 and Jacob Kasselman, who placed 10th at 19:01.
Joanna Strecker led the Lady Eagles, placing third in a time of 17:41.
She was one of four Lady Eagles to finish in the Top 10.
Abbie Reichuber placed fourth, Madelyn Hayes finished in fifth and Cailey Carmen recorded sixth.
