Great Bend, which figures to be on the road for a first-round regional game this coming Tuesday, finished 4-4 in Western Athletic Conference play after splitting with Garden City on Tuesday night at the Sports Complex.
Garden City survived for a 2-1 win in the first game before Great Bend salvaged a split with an 8-4 victory in the nightcap.
