The Great Bend American Legion Argonne Post 180 Baseball program will sponsor tryouts for the 19-and-under AAA Chiefs and the 17-and-under A Braves. The tryout is open to any baseball player age 15 to 19 in the community and surrounding areas of Great Bend.
The practice tryout is scheduled from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18 at the Fieldhouse, 2817 9th Street, Great Bend.
The Great Bend Chiefs placed as AAA state runner-up. The Great Bend Braves were A state runner-up and regional qualifier.
Turf/tennis shoes must be worn. No cleats are permitted.Players are required to bring their own equipment. Waivers will be provided at the door and need to be signed by players/parents. Player selections will be made that day and players will be telephoned that evening.
