Great Bend Middle School boys basketball competes

The Great Bend Middle School eighth-grade boys basketball team won two of three games in recent competition. The eighth-graders are 3-3.
The Panther eighth-graders beat Liberal Seymour Rogers 40-6. Braden Vratil scored 15 points and Mathew Moeder added eight points.
The Panthers defeated Liberal Eisenhower 38-35. Vratil scored 14 points followed by Moeder and Braylon Council with seven points apiece.
Hays Middle School beat the Panthers 37-24. Madison Regehr scored eight points and Council added six points.
GREAT BEND 7TH GRADE — The Great Bend Middle School seventh-grade boys won two of three games. The seventh-graders are 5-1.
Great Bend beat Liberal Seymour Rogers 23-16. Skyler McMullen scored 10 points.
The Panthers defeated Liberal Eisenhower 32-27. McMullen scored 11 points and Justin Ward added seven points.
Hays Middle School edged the Panthers 30-26. McMullen scored nine points and Emanuel Preito added eight points.
