SALINA — The Great Bend Middle School 7th-grade boys cross country team placed first; the 7th-grade girls runner-up; the 8th-grade girls third and the 8th-grade boys fourth place at Tuesday’s Salina meet.
Angel Razo won the 7th-grade race (5:42) and runner-up Jonathan Pasos (5:49) and fifth-place finisher Juan Sanchez (6:03) finished strong for the first-place boys team.
Third-place finisher Emilia Diaz (6:26) led the 7th-grade Great Bend girls to a second-place team finish.
Top 10 finishers for the third-place Great Bend 8th-grade girls were third-place finisher Aubrey Snapp (10:25) and 9th-place finisher Jordyn Stukey (11:08).
Runner-up Jaime Arellanes (8:57) and 9th-place finisher Kaiden Procopio (9:49) led the 8th-grade Great Bend boys to fourth place.
