Jordan Haney wound up her collegiate career on Friday as Tabor College bowed out of the KCAC Softball Championships with a 4-0 loss to Bethany College. Haney hit one for three as the Bluejay’s DP. For the season, Haney batted .318 after 129 at-bats, a third team best 41 hits and started in 45 of 47 games as a senior.
The former Panther had a pair of home runs for the year with four doubles, 21 RBI, 11 walks, a slugging percentage of .395 and an on-base percentage of .373. Haney helped lead Tabor in defeating Bethany in the opening round of the tournament on Wednesday in a 3-1 victory and wound up tournament play at 2-2.
Tabor finishes the season at a game above .500 at 26-25.
