HAYS -- The Hays Eagles Junior American Legion swept the Great Bend Braves 13-0 and 9-1 in Tuesday's home baseball opener at Larks Park. Isaac Smith threw a one-hitter and Brock Lummus went 2-for-2 with a double in the first game.

Mason Prescott allowed one earned run over four innings for the win in game two. Josh Haynes went 3-for-3 at the plate.
