Ibarra leads Mustangs over Lancers

LARNED — Adolfo Ibarra led four Macksville High School basketball players in double figures on Monday afternoon at the Gene Keady Classic.
The Mustangs beat Spearville 56-40 to advance to Friday night’s semifinal game.
Ibarra scored 15 points, including seven in the final quarter.
Junior point guard Tanner Tranbarger, who was coming off a 27-point performance in Macksville’s season-opening overtime loss to Ness City, scored 12 points.
Hugo Flores also added 12 points, and Jordan Welch dropped in 10.
Macksville will face Kiowa County at 8 on Friday at the Larned Middle School gym.
