CLAFLIN — The Central Plains High School girls’ basketball team built a 30-16 lead by halftime, and maintained the lead throughout the second half to beat Larned on Thursday night.
The game was originally slated for Dec. 20, but inclement weather caused the it to be postponed.
The Lady Oilers (11-5) were led by Janae Hekele, who finished with 15 points.
Sydney Rugan and Jennifer Hitschmann joined her in double figures with 14 and 13 points, respectively.
Tiara Diaz led Larned (2-13) with 15 points.
