LARNED — Two rivals Larned (9-11) and Hoisington-Central Plains (8-12) will meet at 4:30 p.m. Monday in the 4A Larned softball regional.
No. 1 seed Pratt (17-1), the Central Kansas League champion, faces Nickerson (0-19) at 3 p.m. Monday. The championship game is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday.
Ellinwood’s softball team (14-6), last year’s 2A state runner-up, will meet Medicine Lodge (12-4) in the 2A Medicine Lodge softball regional at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Pairings for the Great Bend baseball and softball teams will be drawn Saturday. The Great Bend baseball ansd softball teams will play at Maize or Wichita Carroll next week.   

BASEBALL — Larned (12-6) will meet an old rival Russell-Victoria (7-10) at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the 4A Hoisington baseball regional. The Indians have qualified for the 3A and 4A state baseball tournaments the past two years. Russell defeated Larned in the 2014 regional finals at Larned.
Concordia (12-3) plays Hoisington-Central Plains (7-11) at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Ellinwood (0-15), a first-year baseball program, will meet Minneola (5-15) at 2 p.m. Monday at Dodge City’s Cavalier Field.
