MACKSVILLE — Macksville’s boys drilled eight 3-pointers to stun state-ranked Otis-Bison 59-49 in a Central Prairie League basketball game.
Macksville (13-5, 5-2 CPL) placed Diego Delgadillo (18), Kreed Parr (14) and Jacob Rein (11) in double figures. Parr and Delgadillo each converted three 3-pointers. Brigdon Russell had four assists and Parr had four steals.
The Mustangs outscored the Cougars 21-14 in the second quarter.
The Cougars (12-6, 3-3 CPL) were led by Maitland Wiltse with 23 points and Kade Urban with 11 points.

Macksville (18-10, 4-3 CPL) were led by Olivia Vosburgh with 10 points and Lexi Wright with nine points. Eight Mustangs scored points. Sophie Filbert passed out six assists. Lexi Wright had three steals.
The Cougars (15-3, 4-2 CPL) were led by Cora Anderson with nine points. Leading scorer Taylor Regan scored two points, but was sidelined in the first quarter.
