Massive lineman Uselton highly touted entering his senior season

Class 5A Great Bend High School’s football team had the toughest all-class schedule in the state the last two seasons — both 4-5 campaigns.
It will be the same rugged schedule again this season, and the Panthers know what’s in front of them.
“We’ve just got to get better each and every day,” said Tyler Uselton, Great Bend’s standout offensive/defensive lineman. “I fully expect us to be back in the playoffs and district champs again. I don’t see any reason why we can’t.
“We’re going to be good on the line on both sides of the ball, and that’s where you win the games at.”
Uselton is the most-recruited player on the team, a player that GBHS head coach Bo Black says is the best offensive lineman he’s ever had.
“I have good feet for my size and I can get out and run,” said Uselton, a 6-foot-4, 327-pound senior. “It’s something I take a lot of pride in and work on in the offseason.
“My ultimate goal is to play Division I, but I’m really looking for an opportunity to play football somewhere next year.”
