ST. JOHN – Red-hot Chase Fisher dominated the paint with 24 points to spark No. 2-ranked Class 2A St. John past upset-minded Macksville 72-60 in a Central Prairie League basketball game.
St. John (17-1, 8-0 CPL) clinched the CPL title behind Cole Kinnamon’s 12 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and three steals. 
Jorge Calleros contributed four assists and three steals. The Tigers outscored the Mustangs 46-30 after halftime.

CLAFLIN – Emily Ryan led four players in double figures with 26 points to spark the No. 1 ranked Class 2A Central Plains girls past Kinsley 77-52 in a Central Prairie League basketball game. 
Emily Ryan scored 18 first-half points.
Kylee Kasselman (19), Cassidy Crites (16) and Janae Ryan (10) all scored in double figures for the Oilers (19-0, 7-0 CPL). The Oilers led 26-15 after one quarter and 49-26 at halftime.
Kinsley (10-8, 5-3) was led by Scout Frame with 18 points and J Frame with 17 points. The Coyotes made six 3-pointers.

OTIS – Maddie Wiltse and Sheridan Ewy each made two free throws in the final minutes to lift the Otis-Bison girls past upset-minded Ellinwood 34-31 in a Central Prairie League basketball game.
Wiltse scored 14 points. The Cougars (16-3, 5-2) played without standout Taylor Regan, who is sidelined with an injury.
Ellinwood (7-12, 4-3 CPL) was led by Allison Panning with 16 points and three steals. Maddie Hayes had three steals.

Brenner Donovan scored 18 points and Cameron Davis chipped in 13 points. The Cardinals (9-10, 5-4 CKL) led 27-15 after one quarter and 42-32 at halftime. Aaron Yoder and Kai Peirce each scored 10 points.

Haven (11-8, 6-3 CKL) was paced by Emmiley Hendrixson with 18 points and five 3-pointers. Hoisington (8-11, 3-6 CKL) was led by Emma Harmon with 18 points and four 3-pointers. Harmon scored 15 first-half points. Pratt visits Hoisington Tuesday.

ST. JOHN – Macksville’s girls outscored St. John 10-2 down the stretch to rally for a stunning 46-42 Central Prairie League victory.
Macksville’s Olivia Vosburgh made a 3-pointer and two free throws. Cindy Ibarra converted three free throws and Perla Ibarra made two free throws in the final minutes.
Macksville (9-10, 5-3 CPL) led 22-6 before St. John (9-9, 4-3 CPL) rallied behind Tara Nelson (15) and Bailey Burns (14). Nelson and Burns scored for a 40-36 lead.
