LITTLE RIVER — The Eight-Man Division-I District 5 football matchup between Central Plains High School and Little River on Thursday night proved just how crucial 2-point conversions can be.
The Oilers matched the Redskins touchdown for touchdown, but Little River converted two more times for two points, winning 38-34.
Running back Chris Woolf rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns, quarterback Bryce Steiner rushed for a pair of scores and threw a 5-yard TD pass to sophomore Layne Bieberle.
Central Plains ends its season at 4-5 overall, 3-2 in district action.
