GARDEN CITY — Turnabout is fair play.
The Great Bend boys bowling team avenged an earlier loss to Garden City with a stunning 9-2 Western Athletic victory Thursday at Hard Rock Lanes. The victory gives the Panthers a six-point lead on Garden City heading to the final two WAC meets.
Medalist Jordan Black led the Panthers with a 646 series (249, 181, 216), just ahead of Garden City’s Karl Larson Jr. (641) and Tyler Larsen (629).
Great Bend swept the first three games 812-756, 901-852 and 846-792 to build a 6-0 lead.

The Great Bend girls were not so fortunate.
