Panther catcher earns All-WAC honors

Panther baseball player Koy Brack

Great Bend catcher Koy Brack earned first-team All-Western Athleic Conference baseball honors. The Panthers upset Salina Central 3-0 and Liberal 2-0 to qualify for the 5A state baseball tournament. Shawnee Heights defeated the Panthers 10-2 at the 5a state tournament.
Great Bend OF Chance Perry, P-IF Colin Hall and IF Joey Soupiset earned second-team All-WAC honors.
Liberal catcher Pancho Terrazas was WAC Player of the Year. Liberal’s Eric Olmstead was Coach of the Year.
