GODDARD — Lightning and rain postponed Tuesday’s scheduled baseball doubleheader between Great Bend and Goddard just in the nick of time. Goddard led 3-0 after 11/2 innings when play was delayed by lightning. After a half-hour delay, the game was postponed by rain. The Panthers hit into two double plays in two innings.
Goddard scored three runs off Panther starting pitcher Logan Perry. Kale Ramos singled home Isaiah Ramos and Logan Dryden scored on an error. Ramos scored on a wild pitch.
The Panthers' next game is scheduled April 4 at Liberal.
