KINSLEY — Central Prairie League rivals St. John High School and Central Plains tied for first with 73 points in the boys division at the Kinsley Track Invitational.
St. John’s Cole Kinnamon was a double winner in the 100 meters (11.56) and 200 meters (24.41). St. John captured the 1,600-meter relay, 3:43.48 (Jorge Calleros, Triston Long, Quincy Smith, Cole Kinnamon); and the 3,200-meter relay, 9:14.8 (Triston Long, Cashe McVey, Jorge Calleros, Quincy Smith); and Triston Long won the 1,600 (5:21.08).
Central Plains captured the 400-meter relay, 46.72 (Jacob McAtee, Lee Letourneau, Clark Besthorn, Alex Barton); and Alex Barton won the long jump (19-91/4); and the 400m (54.57); and  Jacob McAtee won the 300-meter hurdles (46.38).
Macksville’s Jacob Rein captured the triple jump (41-9).
Pawnee Heights runner Regan Carlson was a double winner in the 1,600-meters (6:35.68) and the 3,200 (13:39.9). Other first-place winners were Macksville’s Itzel Garcia, 800 meters (2:55.85); Central Plains’ Cassidy Crites, high jump (5-0); and Oiler Brianna Hickel, discus (90-6).
Pratt Skyline won the girls division with 63 points. Central Plains tied for third with 49 points.
