LARNED — The Larned High School Softball Pack the Park is scheduled for Tuesday at 3:45 p.m..
Larned will host Hoisington in a doubleheader at Jordaan Park. The varsity will play at Ralph Terry Field and the junior varsity at Mitch Webster Field.
“We want everybody to come out and see some exciting games, support the teams, and be part of the fun,” Larned coach Carl Miller said.
John Farley, a lifetime LHS softball supporter, will throw out the first pitch. A disc jockey, sponsored by area businesses, will serve up music and will MC the games and ongoing events.
Fans will be able to enjoy special festivities, including cotton candy, balloons, face tattoos, train rides, Bahama Mama shaved ice, and children’s games.
A hamburger and hotdog feed, while supplies last, will be available for a freewill donation. The beef is donated by Ward Feed Yard.
Door prizes will be given away between innings, highlighted by a plane ride during Tuesday’s games.
First State Bank’s Dino Dave will make a special appearance at the games.
Spectactors are encouraged to wear their Orange and Black and be a part of the Pack.
