Ryan Engle elected to USSSA Softball Hall of Fame

Ryan Engle has been elected to the USSSA Softball Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will take place on Feb. 7, at the Courtyard Marriot Old Town in Wichita.
Ryan grew up on the baseball and softball fields in Great Bend where he was the batboy for his older brother’s and dad’s teams. After playing football and baseball in college, he came home and started his slow-pitch softball career.
Ryan’s stats: 11 ASA State Championships; 2 ASA 4-State Regional Championships; 17 USSSA State Championships; 2 USSSA World Championships in 2003 and 2006. He played on two great Masters Teams - Great Bend Coors and Dodge City Budweiser.
Joining Ryan in the USSSA Softball first Hall of Fame class are Jetmore’s Larry Berger, Ulysses’s Marv Billings, and Dodge City’s Kent Bailey.
