Larned girls qualify for state golf

LARNED —Larned's regional runner-up Ariana Meyer (90) led the Indians to second place (404) and a berth in the 3-1A girls state golf championship at Edwards Park Golf Course Monday.

Other Indians who counted were fourth-place Taeten Reynolds (94), 12th-place Khloe Smith (107) and 18th-place Temperance Donecker (113).

Cheney (401) won the team title. Hays Thmas More Prep's Brynn Schoepf (89) won the regional title keyed by a trio of 3s on the front nine.
