Elise Kaiser scored 26 points as Central Kansas League member Hesston powered past St. John 4328 in Friday’s non-league basketball game.

St. John (3-3) was paced by Paige Doran with 16 points.

St. John’s Tanner Halling scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and the Tigers scored 28 fourth-quarter points in a 64-53 non-league basketball loss to Hesston. The Swathers led 33-25 after three quarters.

Mason Osborne contributed 17 points and three assists. Collin Halling 12 points for St. John (4-2).

Hesston (5-1) was sparked by Cason Richardson with 23 points.
