The Barton Community College Boys’ Summer League finished its season on Tuesday with the basketball team from St. John winning with a 9-1 record.
The eight-team league, which featured high school-level athletes, has been playing since June 4 at Kirkman Activity Center.
Teams include St. John, Great Bend, Central Plains 1, Central Plains 2, Larned 1, Larned 2, Hoisington and Central Kansas, which is an MAYB team of younger kids from around the area.
The league has run for seven years under the direction of Barton head men’s basketball coach Craig Fletchall.
