Velocity takes first at Paola
Velocity Volleyball Club
The Velocity Volleyball Club 12-1 team won the Slammer Showdown at the Paola Middle School Volleyball Tournament earlier this year. They finished the day with a record of 12-1, taking home the gold medal. This team, which is currently ranked No. 9 silver out of 121 teams, has competed in several tournaments this season and received a second place finish at the BFF Winter Slam in Pratt and two third-place finishes at The Cougar Warm up in Wichita and at McPherson for the February Blast. The team includes Mya Maxwell, Kaitlyn Panning, Emily Frakes, Faith Ringering, Kennedy Harrington, Kristina Head and Daci Stover.
