The Storm Chasers lost a sixth straight and have been held to 11 runs through eight games on the road trip. Clayton Mortensen (6.0 IP, 2 H, 3 ER, 5 BB, 5 SO) carried a no-hitter through the fourth, with Ty Kelly’s two-run homer breaking up a scoreless game. Jose Martinez led Omaha with two hits, boosting his average to .330 (30-for-91). Reymond Fuentes homered in the seventh, bringing the Storm Chasers to within 2-1.

NW Arkansas Naturals (25-12)

The opponent changed and the result was similar as Northwest Arkansas walked off with a second-straight 3-2 win in 10 innings. Angel Franco’s game-winning single scored Terrance Gore. Raul Mondesi recorded three hits, a stolen base and a run in his third game back from the disabled list. Christian Binford held Arkansas to two runs on eight hits and no walks with five strikeouts over 7.0 innings. Mark Peterson tossed 3.0 scoreless frames for the win.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (19-17)

The Blue Rocks had Monday off after a weekend set at Lynchburg. They host Winston-Salem (White Sox) on Tuesday.

Lexington Legends (17-20)

The Legends overcame six errors to win a high-scoring opener at Greenville. Chase Vallot finished a triple shy of the cycle, driving in four runs. Ryan O’Hearn had three hits, three RBI and two runs. Wander Franco added two hits, including a solo homer.
