Chamber celebrates 50 years of Club 1

Club 1 Fitness, located at 3806 Broadway Ave. in Great Bend, celebrated its 50th anniversary with a ribbon-cutting event on March 6 hosted by the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce. This milestone marks five decades of dedication to health and wellness in the community.

Since its inception on March 10, 1974, as Town & Country Racquet Club owned by Martin Casey, Club 1 Fitness has been committed to providing top-notch fitness amenities and services to its members. With a 64,000-square-foot facility, Club 1 Fitness offers a comprehensive range of fitness equipment and high-end amenities, including a weight room, cardio equipment, dry sauna, steam room, hot tub, Olympic-size swimming pool, full-size locker rooms, and over 30 group fitness classes.

Club 1 Fitness prides itself on being the go-to fitness destination in the area, offering more equipment, fitness classes, and expertise than any other facility. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Club 1 Fitness invited the community to join in the festivities. Guests were handed a commemorative T-shirt the day of the ribbon cutting ceremony. Over 50 people gathered to celebrate the fitness centers past, present and future.
