Wilma Woods Handley, right, and Marlene Wendel hold the quilt to be raffled by the Hoisington High School Class of 1967 Alumni.

The Hoisington High School Class of 1967 Alumni are holding a quilt raffle. The quilt was made by two of the classmates and features a cardinal design on the front and the school emblem on the reverse side. A portion of funds received will be donated to a recipient to be decided at the 55th reunion to be held on Labor Day weekend. Possible recipients include Clara Barton Hospital and Hoisington High School. A small portion will be reserved to use for memorials for classmates and teachers.

Tickets may be purchased at the First Kansas Bank in Hoisington. Ticket information can also be found on the Facebook page “You are probably from Hoisington, Ks. if” or Marlene Wendel Palmer’s Facebook page.
