HUTCHINSON– Great Bend won the Buhler Swimming Invitational sparked by Emilee Hall, who won the 500-yard freestyle (6:11.91). Hall was the Western Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Year in 2023.
The Panthers (366) edged Andover Central ((290) for first place.
Hall anchored the first-place 200-yard freestyle (1:53.29) with Josephine Mazouch, Meredith Mazouch and Darcy Feist. The Panthers placed runner-up in the 400-yard freestyle relay (4:20.24) with Josephine Mazouch, Feist, Braylee Carper and Hall.
Josephine Mazouch placed runner-up in the 50 freestyle (28.18).
