Claflin Area Pride is raising money to buy the Central Plains Elementary School at Holyrood a Buddy Bench. B& B Metal Art will make the bright orange bench with the wording, “Buddy Bench – A Friend is Only a Seat Away.”

The $2,000 cost for the project includes fabricating the bench, setting it on a concrete slab and bolting it down. If there is any money left over, Principal Jane Oeser can use the rest for things that go with the Buddy Bench or to get supplies for the teachers.

Anyone wishing to make a donation toward the project should send checks payable to CPES.
