Heartland Farm will host its yearly Open Farm Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 and is currently taking registrations for their annual Peace Camp for child 8-11 years old.

Open Farm Day allows guests to visit and to learn about the mission of the non-profit farm, with its herd of 17 alpacas, its 3 miles of walking trails, and its unique gift shop.

Watch demonstrations, take a tour of their gardens and trails, feed Scottish Highland cattle from JCA Highlands, feed your creativity with a fun craft, symbolically adopt an alpaca, and even take an alpaca for a walk.

A coupon redeemable for 20% off one regularly-priced gift shop item at Open Farm Day is available Heartland Farm’s website or Facebook page. Participants must present the coupon physically or digitally.

Open Farm Day is free to the public. Refreshments will be served. For more information, see the Farm’s Facebook page or visit heartlandfarm-ks.org/2024-open-farm-day.
