STERLING — Ellinwood's runner-up Drew Heinz (76) and third-place medalist Mason Moore (79) led the Eagles (327) to first place in Monday's Sterling Golf Invitational. 

Ellinwood also counted scores by seventh-place Luke Heinz (85) and 10th-place medalist Braden Lewis (87). Drew Heinz carded several birdies and Luke Heinz birdied a hole.

Cheney's Aiden Lynch shot 4-over-par 75 to edge Drew Heinz by one stroke. Players battled winds blowing from 20 to 40 mph.
