HOISINGTON — John Maynard Little, 55, died March 3 at Clara Barton Hospital. He was born Sept. 2, 1955 at Hoisington, the son of Harold E. and Wilma M. (Lust) Little.

He worked as an oilfield roughneck and was a lifetime Hoisington resident.

Survivors include: mother, Wilma Demel and step-father Dennis Demel, Hoisington; two sisters, Sheila Thompson of rural St. John, and Suzie Little of Hoisington; two brothers, Gary Little of Hoisington, and Craig Little of Lawrence; step sister, Denise Schreiber of Hoisington; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by father, Harold Little, step-brother, Craig Demel.

There will be a graveside memorial inurnment service on Saturday, March 26 at 10 a.m. at Hoisington Cemetery. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials may be made to John Maynard Little Memorial Fund in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home.
