GODDARD — Karen Kay (Miller) Marcotte, 66, died Oct. 21 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Goodard. Born Jan. 18, 1948, in Claflin, she was the daughter of Joseph Miller and Lucille (Habiger) Miller. She was employed by Koch Industries as a records administrator.
Survivors include six children, Jason (Liz) Marcotte of Salina, Julie (Donald) Carter, Jamie Marcotte and Jeremy (Shauna) Marcotte, all of Wichita, Jenni (Chad) Brown of Houston, Texas, and Jarod Marcotte of Shawnee; two brothers, Alan Miller of Great Bend and Tom Miller of Lenexa; a sister, Marcia Fanning of Derby; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger Marcotte; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 at St. Mark Catholic Church in St. Mark with Father Tom Hoisington officiating. Burial will be at the St. Mark Cemetery. Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday at the church. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Friday.
