Michael Paul Mauney, 32, passed away February 6, 2021 at the University of Kansas Health System Pawnee Valley Campus, Larned.
He was born March 17, 1988 in Great Bend, the son of Michael R. and Connie S. Penka Mauney.
A lifetime area resident, he was a farmer. He enjoyed making movies with his GoPro while farming, enjoyed music, spending time with friends and family, and his cat, Archer.
Survivors include: his parents, Michael and Connie Mauney, Larned; two sisters, Shanna (Benn) Maddox, and Crystal (Chad) Elliott, both of Great Bend; and 6 nieces and nephews, Jaydan, Breckyn, Raelyn, and Evynn Elliott, and Mylee and Gavynn Maddox.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned, with Pastor Ryan Webster Presiding. Service will be viewable via Facebook Live at www.facebook.com/beckwithmortuary. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, with family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
