Sharon Lee Klusener, 72, died Dec. 28, 2015, at her son’s home in Hutchinson. Born Aug. 4, 1943 at Hays, she was the daughter of Herman and Alice (Teeters) Davis.
She married Melvin Dean Klusener June 30, 1963 at Hays.  He died Dec. 16, 2015. She was office manager for 37 years for Tom Harris State Farm Office, Great Bend. Mrs. Klusener was a Great Bend, Kansas resident. She was a member of Pilot Club, Wagon Wheels, and Past President of Desk and Derrick. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Jason Klusener and his wife Jan of Hutchinson; two sisters, Alice Ann Paul of Hays, and Betty Matheson and her husband Jerry of Hays; one brother: Don Davis of Hays;
Three grandchildren: Mandy Snyder and her husband Ricky, Matt Klusener and his wife Carrie, and McCaulley Klusener and companion Mariah Childs. She was preceded in death by one son, Myron Klusener, and one brother, Harold Davis.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Great Bend with Mother Phyllis Flory officiating. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to St. John’s Episcopal Church or Kansas Oil and Gas Museum, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
