NICKERSON  — William A. “Trey” Jones, III, died Thursday, July 7, 2022, in Louisville, KY. He was born Nov. 5, 1979, in McPherson, Kan., to William A. and Mary A. (Hoss) Jones. 

Trey and his family were in Louisville for a basketball tournament when he and his family were struck by a vehicle. Sadly, Trey succumbed to his injuries. Amy and Ava are still hospitalized. Due to the circumstances all funeral arrangements are pending at this time. 

Friends may sign a book at Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, Monday thru Saturday 9-5, and Sunday 1-5. Memorials may be made to the Jones Family Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
