Kenneth and Donna Shaffer of Great Bend, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Shaffer, to Michael Habiger, son of Raymond and Roxanna Habiger of Bushton.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Great Bend High School. She graduated from Texas Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She is a certified wedding and event planner and manager of Yours Truly Gifts and Events in Great Bend.
The prospect groom is a graduate of Quivira Heights High School. He graduated from North Central Kansas Technical College with a degree in Diesel Technology. He is employed as a farmer, diesel technician, and LG Seed salesman.
The wedding is planned for Jan. 11.
