Mandie Walden and Jared Boone were united in marriage on June 14, in Bird City in a double ring ceremony officiated by Nate Robinson, brother-in-law of the groom. Parents of the couple are Tony and Bobbie Walden of Bird City and Dan and Linda Boone of Great Bend.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Josselyn McLaren. Bridesmaids were Sarah Schaeffer, Brandy Burkholder, Abby Robinson and Marisa Wood.
Bestman was Corey Heier. Groomsmen were Stein Scott, Chris Walden, Jordan Boone and Justin Fischer.
Ringbearer was Reid Robinson, nephew of the groom, of Lawrence.
The bride graduated from Cheylin High School in Bird City, and Hays Academy of Hair Design. She is employed as a cosmetologist with Hairware & Co. in Hays.
The groom graduated from Great Bend High School and Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science in Technology Studies. He is employed as a supervisor with Paul-Wertenberger Construction, Inc. in Hays.
The couple resides in Hays.
