Elizabeth Lavern Splitter and Matthew David Lansdowne were united in marriage on Oct. 12, at the First Baptist Church in McPherson in a double ring ceremony officiated by Minister Tom Bronleewe. The bride is the daughter of Dr. Janet Splitter of Lorraine and the late Dr. Melvin Splitter. The groom is the son of David and Kathy Lansdowne of Hutchinson. Grandparents of the bride are the late Vernon and Melva Splitter and Willard and Lois Janssen. Grandparents of the groom are Margaret Lansdowne and Dr. Kenneth and Maxine Burkhard, all of Manhattan and the late Robert Lansdowne.
The bride earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tabor College and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Wichita State University. She practices at Advanced Physical Therapy in McPherson.
The groom earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University in Computer Engineering. He is a computer programmer at Data Center Inc. in Hutchinson.
After a honeymoon to Cancun, the newlyweds are at home in McPherson.
