Destiny Degenhardt and Jaime Loera were united in marriage in an outdoor, double ring ceremony officiated by Tom Swain on June 28, at Lake Barton Golf Course. Parents of the couple are Tiffany Degenhardt of Great Bend and Rosalinda Loera of Great Bend. Grandparents of the bride are Larry and Shirley Degenhardt of Great Bend.
Given in marriage by her grandfather, Larry Degenhardt, the bride wore an ivory lace fit and flare dress with a headpiece and veil that was worn by her maternal grandmother. She handmade her bouquet with an assortment of sunflowers and baby’s breath.
Maid of honor was Sienna Serna, sister of the bride, of Great Bend. Bridesmaids were Jessica Loera and Maggie Loera, sisters of the groom, and Briana Thomas Loera, sister-in-law of the groom, all of Great Bend.
Best man was Jesus Loera, brother of the groom, of Great Bend. Groomsmen were Alex Serna, brother of the bride, Herb Loera and Angel Loera, both brothers of the groom, all of Great Bend.
Ushers were Tim Asher and Louis Degenhardt, both of Great Bend.
Flower girls were Olivia Loera and Natalie Loera, both nieces of the groom. Ringbearer was Vivica Loera, niece of the groom.
The bride is a 2014 graduate of Great Bend High School. In the spring of 2014, she earned her Pre-School Education Certificate from Barton Community College. She is currently working on her bachelors degree in Elementary Education.
The groom is a graduate of Great Bend High School. He is a 88M Specialist in the Army Reserves. He is employed by Stanion Electric Wholesale.
The couple reside in Great Bend.
