Shannon Laurice Brack and Gerald Lee Wilburn were united in marriage on June 2 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend in a double ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. James Strasen. Parents of the bride are Roger and Sharon Brack of Otis. Grandparents of the bride are Eudale Brack of Otis and the late Magdalene Brack and Irene Miller. Grandparents of the groom are Mary and Carl Henkle.
Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a gown of white satin. The bodice featured a strapless, modified sweetheart neckline that was adorned with pearls, sequins, crystal beads, and silver bugle beads. The basque waist flowed into a full a-line skirt with a cathedral train. The hem line of the skirt and train were trimmed with a lapel made of the same bead work as the bodice. The back of the skirt and train was also adorned with silver embroidery stitching and the same bead work as the bodice.
Matron of honor was Angie Anderson, of Great Bend. Bridesmaids were Nickie Ochs, of Great Bend, Amber Lieser of Oklahoma, and Kim Klima, cousin of the bride, of Manhattan.
Best man was Jeremy Truitt of Hutchinson. Groomsmen were Richard Mason, Brandon Werth, and Benn Maddox, all of Great Bend.
Flower girl was Tatum Anderson and ring bearer was Gavynn Maddox.
Ushers were Justin Klima and Kevin Anderson.
The bride is a graduate of Otis-Bison High School. She graduated from Barton Community College with an associate’s degree. She is employed by Farmers Bank & Trust, N.A. in Great Bend.
The groom is a graduate of Great Bend High School. He graduated from Barton Community College with an associate’s degree. He is employed by Verizon Wireless in Great Bend.
After a honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides in Great Bend.
