Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made four ambulance runs Friday, five Saturday and six Sunday.
At 6:38 a.m. Saturday, units responded to a possible structure fire at 4 NW 30 Road. They found burning in an unapproved burn pit outside a mobile home.

Other fires
A house was hit by lightning, resulting in a fire, around 4:45 a.m. Saturday on Michaelies Road in Russell County.  Lightning also struck a tank battery at 1164 SE 40 Road around 8 a.m. Sunday.

Barton County Sheriff
At 6:37 a.m. Friday, deputies responded to 680 SE 70 Road, where a stolen car that had been burned was still smoldering.
A Chevy Impala was involved in a one-car accident on west U.S. 56 at SW 30 Ave. shortly before 6 p.m. Friday.
Theft of a 1911 Ducks Unlimited edition .45 pistol from 656 West Barton County Road was reported.
Theft of propane from a storage building in the 600 block of north U.S. 281 was reported Sunday.

Great Bend Police
Guns were missing from 5221 Eisenhower Ave. on Friday.
A Great Bend businessman reported receiving a forged check on an account that had been closed for over 25 years.
A vehicle was damaged Friday evening by kids playing in the Walmart parking lot who rammed it with a shopping cart.
Eastbound vehicles collided at 8:09 p.m. Friday on 10th St. when an unknown driver attempted to change lanes and struck a vehicle driven by Kelsey Kaemmerer. The first driver then left the scene.
A wallet was reportedly stolen from 1109 Main St.
A hit-and-run vehicle hit a parked vehicle at 3201 25th St.
A burglary was reported at 2115 Monroe St. Someone broke into the house and took a PlayStation4 and a tablet computer. Total loss was $1,650.
Newspaper stands at 1906 Main and 1000 Main were broken into and change stolen, it was reported Sunday morning.
The back window of a van at 705 Stone St. was shot with a BB gun.
A vehicle parked at 205 10th St was hit by an unknown vehicle.
A cat and car at 1706 Odell St. were shot with a BB gun.
