On Monday morning, Great Bend residents discovered someone had entered their vehicles and taken wallets at 1301 Harding St. and 911 Grant St.
An injury accident was reported at 1 p.m. A vehicle driven by Vanessa Lewis was westbound in the 700 block of 10th St. and reportedly rear-ended a vehicle driven by Michael Bowles, who was stopped in traffic.
Vehicles driven by a City of Great Bend employee and Jessica Yost collided at 3:10 p.m. on Third St. Kansas Highway Patrol worked the accident due to a city vehicle being involved. No injuries were reported.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle in the 1200 block of Morton St.
Vehicles driven by Kynlee Doll an Shannon Delgado collided at 4:29 p.m. at 3503 10th St.
A known person allegedly broke several items at 815 Hubbard St. during an argument and was served a notice to appear (NTA) in municipal court.
A boys 20-inch bicycle was reportedly stolen from Brit Spaugh Park.
A man was served an NTA for allegedly shoplifting items at Walmart.
A man was served an NTA for allegedly shoplifting a phone charger from Love’s, 1221 10th St.
A motorist in a black Ford Excursion drove off from Love’s without paying for fuel at 2:34 a.m. Tuesday.
Barton County Sheriff
The low water crossing at NW 10 Road and NW 30 Ave. was closed Monday morning due to high water.
A two-vehicle injury accident was reported at 4:11 p.m. at NE 30 Road and U.S. 281.
Several radiators were reportedly stolen from 332 North U.S. 281.
A motorist reporting backing into another vehicle at 9 p.m. in the 200 block of East Barton County Road, but no one was injured.
